Hot Showers now available at Lake Cuyamaca Campground

One of the best parts of a camping trip is getting home and hitting Hot showers at lake cuyamacathe showers. Now at Lake Cuyamaca, you don't have to wait. A few quarters and a shower bag and off you go.

The shower bag should contain:

  • towels and washrags
  • soap and a plastic container
  • shampoo and shower cap
  • toothbrush and a plastic container
  • comb and brush
  • razor and shave cream
  • sunburn relief spray
  • flip flops or shower shoes for your feet

  • Handicap showers
A shower bag should be a waterproof bag that you can carry all your items and clothes in. Or use a 5 gallon bucket for the same purpose – you can also use it as a seat if waiting in line. Remember your quarters, the showers are coin operated Plan your shower during off times – very early morning, early afternoon, later in the evening

After you've spent a few days out in the Cuyamaca mountains, sweating from the hiking and smelling like horses, taking a shower and putting on clean clothes is an indescribable feeling.
