Hot Showers now available at Lake Cuyamaca Campground
One of the best parts of a camping trip is getting home and hitting the showers. Now at Lake Cuyamaca, you don't have to wait. A few quarters and a shower bag and off you go.
The shower bag should contain:
- towels and washrags
- soap and a plastic container
- shampoo and shower cap
- toothbrush and a plastic container
- comb and brush
- razor and shave cream
- sunburn relief spray
- flip flops or shower shoes for your feet
A shower bag should be a waterproof bag that you can carry all your items and clothes in.
Or use a 5 gallon bucket for the same purpose – you can also use it as a seat if waiting in line. Remember your quarters, the showers are coin operated
Plan your shower during off times – very early morning, early afternoon, later in the evening
After you've spent a few days out in the Cuyamaca mountains, sweating from the hiking and smelling like horses, taking a shower and putting on clean clothes is an indescribable feeling.
