Helping others to help themselves."Since 1970, the Jerry Lester Foundation has volunteered its services to our neighbors in Mexico. We are active year-round in activities from birth to death. We have constructed over 60 community buildings. All volunteers pay their own expenses for travel and time, so 100% of donations go directly to the recipients. We sponsor trips to the United States for sporting and entertainment events. The programs extend from Cabo to Tijuana, but concentrate on the Rosarito area for logistics reasons. There we have developed a village. The village contains a community center, orphanage, school, health center, rehabilitation center, little league baseball field and a senior citizen residence.
